  1. Chameleon 2.4svn Official PKG Installer

Heh, pekne. Si prvý Čech (tipujem), ktorého som tu videl. Veľa zdaru!
  2. Hi guys. This is crazy. My graphics card always worked with Graphics Enabler=Yes without any problem. Now I did a fresh install of Lion and I'm stuck @1024x768, display not detected, 3MB of VRAM... Nothing has changed at all! I even tried to install old iAtkos S3 but I ended up with the same thing. I just simply don't understand it! Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind. It works now. Just updated to the latest SVN build of Chameleon. Mods can delete this. Thanks.
  3. HDA Wizard - Simple tool for AppleHDA.kext

Thanks for your effort but unfortunately i have no microphone input using this method. Switched back to 10.6.2 AppleHDA/ALC8xx.
  4. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Alright, thanks! Cuz i wanna try to patch AppleHDA according to your guide. So wich file i should edit/create? layout0C.xml or layout888.xml? N00bish questions, i know, but this is my first try. EDIT: layout0C.xml Maybe it should be layout12.xml?
  5. DSDT Auto-Patcher

    One question. Wich HDEF section is correct for ALC888? HDEF_Gigabyte.app: Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x08) { "codec-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x88, 0x08, 0xEC, 0x10 }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x78, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00 }, "device-type", Buffer (0x0F) { "Realtek ALC888" }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (One) { 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } Auto-Patcher: Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x04) { "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x0C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {} }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) }
  6. HDA Wizard - Simple tool for AppleHDA.kext

    Can you please post your HDEF? This is mine: Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (Package (0x02) { 0x0D, 0x05 }) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x04) { "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x78, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00 }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {} }, Local0) MCDP (Arg2, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } I tried binpatch along with ALC8xxHDA.kext but with no luck. Sound assertion at startup and no I/Os in System Preferences. Thanks.
  7. It looks like the kext has some problems in Lion. Probably it should be optimized for Lion... Andy, would you be so kind?
  8. Kakewalk 4.0 Released!

Changelog: -reached maximum level of noobness -IQ requirements lowered to zero Well, at least they don't ask for a money. Surprisingly.
  9. Yes it works but now i un-vanilled my system. But i can live with that. Thanks.
  10. Yes but that would load kexts only from S/L/E... We need to create combo cache from both /E/E and S/L/E and use it at startup. Is it possible? How?
  11. DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

OK. I'm trying to rebuild my DSDT from scratch using this topic. And i'm stucked right after three pages. What the hell just happened in these two posts? Am i a BIG n00b or is this uber-geeky?
  12. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Yes, i tried that. I was just testing, what will happen if i put a non-edited part there. And i found out, that sleep behavior is not changing at all...
  13. DSDT Auto-Patcher

I did what you said: the same result I edited _PTS to its original (untouched) state: Sleep -the same, Shutdown -like when the shutdown fix is not applied (CPU fan keeps spinning) So i looks like this part is not affecting sleep at all. It's a shame that MasterChief is gone. I bet he would sniff it out. EDIT: Haha! It's just IMPOSSIBLE to figure it out from Intel's datasheet. I would have to have a LOT of knowledge. I will try to post about my problem in DSDT editing section.
  14. DSDT Auto-Patcher

OK, thanks for your time anyway. I will try to figure it out but i don't think i will get somewhere.
  15. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hmm, so i guess there is no easy solution to my problem.
