zhell
Same here. Works if connected via USB hub. With 10.6.2 it worked both at USB hub and connected directly. You need to DSDT your EHCI/AHCI ports, 10.6.3 unfixes USB ports on a lot of boards. Do you happen to have a specific guide in mind that explains what needs to be done? Or are you referring to the device-id injection technique? The latter I have already done -- USB is built in and no orange icons. zarac
same here. lost bluetooth after update to 10.6.3 actually, i haven't lost it - it is loaded, but not working. i use bluetooth wii remote along with remote buddy software to control my plex/boxee on secondary display. since the update i cannot connect to wii remote and the computer freezes when i try to do it 2-3 times consecutively (hard reset necessary) bluetooth icon is still there in the menu and i can open bluetooth prefs, but it waits for about 30 seconds before finally opens it - never had that before. i haven't yet tried other devices, but wii remote certainly won't connect. tried to remove AppleHPET, but no difference whatsoever will try to find some other bluetooth dongle and will report my findings. PS: i have edited EHCI/AHCI in DSDT long ago - system profiler shows AHCI SATA and USB as internal EDIT: tried with another dongle, same result Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214170-no-bluetooth-after-1063-update-belkin-mini-doogle/#findComment-1444229 Share on other sites
elitaliano
¡Solution to continue using Belkin MiniBluetooth Snow Leopard 10.6.3! ** Sorry if you do not understand well what I write but I am Spanish and I am using the google translator. The Snow Leopard update to 10.6.3 the use of BluetoothMiniBelkin affection. I got back to make it work by adding a few lines to the file IOBluetoothFamily.Kext correctly identifying the device. Now it works but when I put the computer in sleep mode and activate it again I have to turn off bluetooth and turn it back from preference to return to work. This problem also had it before so the same is my DSDT. I would like to try my kext and comment me if they have the same problem.
