Renegade
Hi, Just wondering if there is any PC software that could be able to recover files over (crashed) HFS partitions. Any idea ? Thanks in advance R. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21200-windows-app-to-recover-mac-data/ Share on other sites
Tush
There is a software called Data Rescue Pc. With that, you can create a bootable cd, and a linux based little app will scan your crashed HDD. I would try that, maybe it works. Or this app seems to be even better Data Rescue Universal http://www.prosofteng.com/products/downloadcenter.php Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21200-windows-app-to-recover-mac-data/#findComment-139988 Share on other sites
Colonel
I'm not sure if MacDrive would work. It lets Windows read HFS+ partitions. You should give it a try. http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive6/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21200-windows-app-to-recover-mac-data/#findComment-140019 Share on other sites

Renegade
Thanks you guys, gonna try those things :glare: I'm actually trying to recover data from an disk that had its partition table erased by a bug from Anaconda (Yellow Dog Linux 3.0 installer, back in 2003). Not easy at all Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21200-windows-app-to-recover-mac-data/#findComment-141522 Share on other sites
