I have rebuilt the ATI ATA driver so that it runs perfectly and without deprecation on Snow Leopard.

Download including sources:

Enjoy... :thumbsup_anim:

The ATA drivers shouldn't have the >4GB RAM issues at all... (both NForce + ATI ata)

THX for the new ATI ATA driver but in my case it doesn´t solved the problem with >4GB RAM. without maxmem=4096 i get a kernel panic all the time.

any idea?

Same thing happens to me...

If i boot without the "maxmem=4096" kernel flag my machine keep on rebooting.

Thanks anyway for your work
