hanZen
Will the software updates ect. work in OSX86? Can I set it to automatically download updates, or will it f*ck up the installation of OSX86?? belgrano
For the system and security updates, the F word... It works though with iTunes, Quicktime, iLife updates. Arcanis
I would be VERY careful with software updates. The application updates (iTunes, Quicktime, iPhoto, etc) works just fine until now (never had a problem updating them), but the system updates and security updates will f*** up your system because they contain encrypted files that only works on genuine macs. I would suggest you to visit constantly this forum and get informed about which updates you can install and which you can't. For now I'll say I installed the iTunes 6.0.5 update, Quicktime 7.1.2 update and iPod software updater and no problems at all. willgonz
I've installed the iLife updates and everything else except the Core System ones. Every thing is fine with mine.
