cwestpha
ah, lack of bt8x8 support. the one reason I cant drop Windows XP from this desktop entirely. That and Second Life doesnt work. -.- Well this could work, but one of those applications that do support it under Linux would have to be ported then rewriten. then the drivers would have to be ported and rewriten. Then you would probebly need to get proper graphics driver support running under OS X to support hardware overlay. moongravy
There are OSX drivers for the Digital TV line of Hauppauge cards. iampivot
I tried compiling it, but the bt8xx.kext driver complains about missing defines. It probably needs a bit different include setup on x86, so I might be able to get it working when I have some time. Will post results when I get it working. Alex HQuest
Now that's what you can name "call from the dead"! 2 years had passed. No news on this card after that long time? If a plain "no", what do you suggest to be used then? Is the USB one from Elgato the only option for Mac OS X? Thanks. SunLizard
nope but anybody need help for brooktree bt878 based cards on 10.5 Leopard check this No love for Happauge's WinPVR series. However, Pinnacle sticks (often appearing on a woot.c o m site near you for around 20 ducats) fit the bill with the Elagato EyeTV series.
