Yes you put your AppleID in when setting up your account then it fills in your details from Apple's server or if you have no ID then you can just fill in the details. I just wonder how my personal info will be used against what i install and how it is being used if they have no register of a full license under my name... They don't know there are no serial numbers the only use I have ever seen made of the information is them sending me emails to buy more of their stuff. Also if you are going to be using OS X on any kind of regular basis you should be buying a copy of it, its not like it costs a fortune to do so... If you're still scared you can put in BS info for your address and such I suppose. EDIT: If you're looking to download Xcode or the iPhone SDK, I wouldn't mind giving them to you in some way.
