jegabla
Don't know if this has been already mentioned. Search in the usual places for OSX_Localizer.zip It's a language patcher for OSX86 supporting the following: Brasilian Portuguese Danish Dutch Finnish French German Italian Japanese Korean Norwegian Spanish Swedish Simplified Chinese and finally Traditional Chinese Install your desired language and then go System Preferences>International and put your language at the top of the list. Logout, login and you're done. Nice work by mdoehler Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2007-osx86-localizer/ Share on other sites

p4m
Installed without problems, now OSx86 speak italian too I've tested it only for 10 minutes but I've noticed that in "get Info", "Open with Rosetta" checkbox became "IN_G100", "Architecture" label became "IN_MD100" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2007-osx86-localizer/#findComment-13599 Share on other sites

jegabla
Hmm... found a few bugs, still no big deal: - You can't see the "Run with Rosseta" on the more info dialog. Workaround: put back english language at the top of the list of international preferences, logout, login, change whatever and put your language back on top. - System monitor crashes. Workaround: switch to english. If someone finds something else, please post. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2007-osx86-localizer/#findComment-13714 Share on other sites
leonking
cool. just tried. and Chinese menu showed up as expected. However, I am still not able to use the input method. Any clue here? I tried to copy Tiger PPC Chinese input method version to x86, and it only worked for PPC applications(thru Rosetta). p4m
My OSx86 with OSX Localizer is running at the some speed (XBench show the some results) that without localizer I've patched only for TPM cause I've got an SEE3 processor Perhaps SSE3 emulation result in performance loss with the localizer installed? far1981: try yourself searching in the bt search engines (p.e. "osx86" in t*rr*ntr**ct*r). We can't answer to your question with a direct link here. Cowboy Mike
Works fine - but anyone with an original PPC DVD could enable foreing languages by the installer Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2007-osx86-localizer/#findComment-17659 Share on other sites
