Hi all

 

I recently bought a Lightscribe drive from Samsung that shows up in syestem profiler as

TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S162L:

 Firmware Revision:	TS02
 Interconnect:	ATAPI
 Burn Support:	Yes (Unsupported)
 Profile Path:	None
 Cache:	2048 KB
 Reads DVD:	Yes
 CD-Write:	-R, -RW
 DVD-Write:	-R, -RAM, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL
 Burn Underrun Protection CD:	Yes
 Burn Underrun Protection DVD:	Yes
 Write Strategies:	CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO
 Media:	No

 

I was wondering if anyone has been able to print a lightscribe DVD or CD using a Mactel, and if true with wich software and wich drive

Ive found this on google. You may need to get a different burner that comes with lightscribe software for it.

 

I personally dont know of any software that supports lightscribe for Mac or I would test it with my burner and let you know.

also try LaCie Lightscribe, it works with my LG lightscribe http://www.lacie.com/more/?id=10016

 

I cant remember exactly how I got it working because it was over a month ago but somehow someway this worked for me Ill try it again and write a tut if I have to reinstall it though

My LightScribe works great, go to the LightScribe site and download the new update for Mac, install it and it should detect your drive.
