Colonel Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Finally, I don't have to run Google Earth under Rosetta. That was painfully slow. It looks nicer and runs better than version 3. EDIT: BTW, Google Earth for Linux came out today, too. domino Posted June 13, 2006 Author Share Posted June 13, 2006 (edited) I got a crash the first time I ran it . No more afterwards though. Maybe just a hack glitch. Other than that, it's runs descent even on my spare 256kbps wifi broadband connection. Linux version isn't as smooth as OS X or Win version though. Maybe because of xgl/compiz. Will see if it runs better in normal gnome. Edit: yea, Pertaining to Linux, it was due to xgl/compiz. It ran as smooth as OS X and Win under normal gnome.
