I got a problem with Snow Leopard (10.6.1) and Paragon NTFS for Mac 7.0.3.

NTFS for Mac installs fine, but doesn't show any available NTFS partitions in the preference pane.

But the partitions are still available in the Finder, it's just note possible to write on them.

I already tried reinstalling the program, but that didn't help...

Any Ideas?

Specs are in my sig. Thanks in advance :)

i think you guys gotta wait until paragon releases the next version which will most likely have native support for SL. I have no problems with ver 7.0.3 on 10.5.6 here

There is SL support in 7.0.3. But I read now that it's only supported in 32 bit mode... Damn! No possibility to write on NTFS in 64 bit except the {censored} native support from Apple which does corrupt files... ^_^

I have exactly the same problem.

It used to work last week...

Still any solution?

Use NTFS 3G app, free verison here ! I'm using it in no cache mode which is faster and better supported.

Cheers

P.S: Just delete the bloody paragon since many have problems with it!!!

Yeah, but the problem with NTFS-3G is:

System requirements:

Mac OS X 10.4/10.5/10.6 (10.6 requires that you do not use the 64-bit kernel), running on an Intel or PowerPC computer.

I want an NTFS driver that's properly working in 64-bit...

Edit: I tested it anyway, I can confirm that it does indeed NOT work

paragon only works in 32 bit, so you have to use a bootflag (that's what I think, as the pref pane switches to 32bit on my MBP)

so I tried this:

write "arch=i386 -x32" (without " ") in the Boot.plist and restart or just type the string when booting and check if it works, for me it's the solution
