Relax Bro. I appreciate the effort made by people to mod their BIOSes. It sure is risky, but in the end, a few people out there have awesome mac based BIOS Logos.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your Logo's.

BTW My logo is still what I had posted originally.

here is also the 16/10 Intel boot logo I'm using now (white Apple on black background + intel logo)

I hope you guys like these logos. They are pretty simple yet looking nice IMHO

All these logo are 640x480@8bit BMP, cbrom.exe compliant for Award/Phenix Bios.

I edited it a bit for mine....hope it isn't a big deal :boxing: but here it is!

well, I've used gigabyte facewizard on my K8N-SLI board to insert a logo. At first, there was NO LOGO AT ALL in the bios file... facewizard just added it in last position in the bios. There is even a new option in bios now to activate or deactivate the logo at boot !

This was quiet stressing to do that at first but it works for me.

It MAY WORK for others gigabyte motherboards as well

So I decided to make a couple of test logos. If someone wants to use one of the generic ones and let me know how it comes out that would be pretty awesome.

Yup, Face Wizard works like a charm on the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L! Thanks! :D I added a mini-tutorial to my guide here:

Here are two 8-bit/256-color 640 by 480 images.

black w/ white apple, color BIOS hotkeys - .bmp

grey w/ black apple, color BIOS hotkeys - .bmp

Note: Don't use the png images that are visible - they are just eye candy for the page. Face_wizard and gigabyte boards require the bmp type image.
