2o2
How do you know you haven't got qe/ci? menu bar not transparent, only 1024x768 resolution, chess wont run. When i installed nvinject on regular leopard after the eVGA driver i had full 1366x768 resolution. I just updated to 10.6.1 to see if it would fix it. It didnt i installed 64 bit nvenabler and it recognizes my card as 9200M GS with 256MB of ram but no qe and still only 1024x768 resolution Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192221-9200m-ge-qeci/#findComment-1299332 Share on other sites
him
have you tried it using an efi string? you can use osx86tools to add it to your boot.plist though I followed this guide starting from step 4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/192221-9200m-ge-qeci/#findComment-1299399 Share on other sites

imacken
i tried the efi strings, they failed miserably now im clueless about what to do I can't really comment on your graphics card as I've not had any dealings with it. The method you linked to seems unnecessarily complicated. It should just be a case of 1) running OSX86 Tools, choosing graphics, custom (if your card isn't on the list), etc. 2) then just paste the hex code into your com.apple.Boot.plist on Extra/Extensions not in System/etc/ at all. No terminal work required. Just need to put inbetween <key>device-properties</key> <string>INSERTHERE</string> I SHOULD be that simple, but as I said I don't know about your card. Also, you may have messed things up with all the injectors you've tried. The simplest thing is to not select any injectors at install time and then just apply the EFI string to you boot.plist file in E/E.
