In leopard i was able to install the eVGA drivers with macbook pro check removed and then install nvinstaller 0.2.1 and get full qe/ci 1366x768 res. I just insalled snow leopard 10.6.0 and cannot get qe/ci  i tried nvinject the same method and didnt work

How do you know you haven't got qe/ci?

menu bar not transparent, only 1024x768 resolution, chess wont run. When i installed nvinject on regular leopard after the eVGA driver i had full 1366x768 resolution. I just updated to 10.6.1 to see if it would fix it. It didnt

i installed 64 bit nvenabler and it recognizes my card as 9200M GS with 256MB of ram but no qe and still only 1024x768 resolution :D

i tried the efi strings, they failed miserably :) now im clueless about what to do

I can't really comment on your graphics card as I've not had any dealings with it.

The method you linked to seems unnecessarily complicated. It should just be a case of

1) running OSX86 Tools, choosing graphics, custom (if your card isn't on the list), etc.

2) then just paste the hex code into your com.apple.Boot.plist on Extra/Extensions not in System/etc/ at all. No terminal work required. Just need to put inbetween

<key>device-properties</key>

<string>INSERTHERE</string>

I SHOULD be that simple, but as I said I don't know about your card. Also, you may have messed things up with all the injectors you've tried. The simplest thing is to not select any injectors at install time and then just apply the EFI string to you boot.plist file in E/E.

screw it, i kept getting mad kernel panics, couldnt get the 1366x768 and it wouldnt make the extensions.mkext file. so f***in annoying so i just restored my time machine to 10.5, i miss snow leopard but it was just too annoying ill wait till ikaros

i had so many f**kin kernel panics my kernel must have had a heart attack

yes.. that was the graphics enabler option i was talking about. if u have such random issues.... did u install from osinstall pkg? i had some issues like that and they all went away after i did a vanilla retail boot from dvd (rather usb) install

no haha there are so many different ways to install it that i just followed some easy guide on youtube where u patch the dsdt, install it from a dvd and then replace the extensions folder. I really liked snow leopard so i am gonna try to install it again over the weekend, its just with school and all. is there any guide you recommend?
