ANyone gotten an Nvidia Quadro NVS 285 working on SL?

Im running a Dell Precsion 390 and cant for hte life of me get my video card to work.. No matter what video Kext i use, i get kernel panic.. Anyone sucessful in getting a Quadro NVS 285?

 

Or if there is another solution versus using a kext.

I also have this Graphic Card with dual monitor.

Trying to make it work on SL as i did in Leopard with Natit.kext, but i got a KP as you did.

This was caused by the other kext: NVDANV40Hal, NVDANV50Hal, NVDAResman.

So i removed all them and restart without KP's but still doesnt have Resolution or QE/CI working.

Dont know why Natit, NVinject, NVEnabler didnt work with the resolution as in Leopard.

 

Hope somebody can help us.

I finally got resolution to work with dsdt.aml in root and Graphics Mode in boot.plist. But still working on getting the right NVCAP to get QE/CI working.

As i read recently, only works if we get the NVCAP from the full working Graphic Card.

So, i will give a try soon!

Yes I have this NVidia NVS 285 too but not working on Snow.

Anyone get this working? I have the PCIe version and have had the worst luck with it. Every time I try to use NVenabler, NVinject, etc, it hangs right before the GUI loads. I am running Chameleon RC4 as my boot loader, so I tried "GraphicsEnabler=Yes", with the NVenabler, NVinject, etc kexts removed. When I do this, the OS loads, but doesn't detect the video card properly. It is runnign in VESA mode. I have added my device ID to the "NVDANV40Hal.kext", and it loads successfully on start-up, it just wont see my video card.

 

I am doing this on OS X 10.6.7, running in x86_64 mode.

DELL 390 here, I got it working with Natit on iATKOS S3 v2 (10.6.3) SL, only resolution I can use is 1280x1024x32 the higher ones do not work and lower ones are too small. I also got network working, downloaded 2 working Broadcom kexts and compared both, where they had the xx 16 address I put A7 16 saved it and it worked with MAC address not being 00's

 

I am now trying to get sound (Creative Labs X-Fi) working with VoodooHDA but it's not loading, not sure if I'm missing any dependencies or what..

 

EDIT: Forgot to post the reason I replied... I am ALSO looking for dual monitor solution for NV Quadro NVS 285. If someone can shed some light over here, it will be greatly appreciated!
