If that is the install DVD I'm thinking of, it had a selection in the custom install for the GMA graphics, but that selection does not actually install correctly. You can run the package directly from the install DVD (under the /System/Install/Packages folder, I believe) and it will fix the problem. I had to do the same thing myself. I have a gma 900 mobo and I got that problem, it doesn't boot but just with a unknow trademark monitor, with a LG crt monitor i boot (the X server goes up). would you recommend to me doing that at the vga port?
