opera
So, after a fresh installation with bender12's patcher a new peference panel that I've never seen before appeared on the system preferences, it gives information about the processor (or processors maybe). Is this on the"real" Macs too?

bgmccollum
I believe it is part of the Developer Tools installation.

opera
No idea. It wasn't there when I did an installation with test3 DVD but it appeared when I did a release1 DVD installation.
bluedragon1971
That PrefPane shows up if you select CHUD Tools (under Developer Tools) in a Custom Install. Nothing mysterious about it at all. It exists on "real" Macs too.
cyrana
And, if you didn't install off the install DVD, you can download XCode and choose to install CHUD tools and you'll get that icon as well.
