Hey guys,

Anyone found a fix for this yet? Look to see if you have this line in your System Profiler>Logs>Kernel.log

This chews up 11 seconds on my boot time!

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out

Please Help! :)

Try removing it...dont know if that will work....the kext is inside the plugins folder of ioplatformpluginfamily.kext...right click on it and show package contents...failing that it could be a gfx issue...what gfx card do you have?

I have EFI string in boot.plist for gfx Nvidia GeForce 8500GT 512mb

The information you need is in that thread whether you like it or not. The choice is yours.
