I think we will be seeing a Mac Pro as the professional Mac desktop. An article on Looprumors says that Apple got a new patent for the name "Mac Pro". Also, Macrumors has a new article on it as well. I can't wait to see what Apple has instore for the Pro line. I might just get me one of these!

The Looprumors article also states that a new version of the Apple displays will be coming out and should have built-in iSights, and infared recievers.

*Ahem* Don't be surprised if the Mac Pros skip Tiger x86 and go straight to Leopard. :)

I'm saving up for one of these. I just hope that the thermal paste issues only affect Apple's notebook line. As far as I know, the iMacs were fine.

I sort of like the idea of seeing a iSight camera mounted on a monitor, being able to remove it, and mount it in different ways. I don't go for the integrated internal iSight so much.

But as for the Mac Pro itself... count me in! I'm sure even my Vaio RS 620g will have a little trouble with Vista, but the Mac pro should run circles around it.

The plural of "Mac Pro" is not "Mac Pros", but rather "Macs Pro". Since the "Pro" is short for Professional, and thus an adjective, it does not get changed to form a plural. The same rule is used for "Attorneys General", "Surgeons General", and (properly) "Macbooks Pro". I realize that, given the aural similarity to "Max Pro", the name "Macs Pro" is awkward, but I feel that linguistic decorum must be observed.
