NinjaTails
I can't even get into single-user mode, is there a way I can use the terminal in the DVD to try and fix it? Thanks in advance for any help... J.B
first of all what did you modify it to do? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180595-halp-modified-the-comapplebootplist-and-now-system-wont-boot/#findComment-1229865 Share on other sites
NinjaTails
I'm thinking it was the Legacy Boot option I tried to use, like this: <key>"Legacy Boot"</key> <string>Yes</string> Either it was an invalid argument or I wasn't supposed to use the quotations... Either way I ended up just reinstalling the whole system. westwaerts
if you have a copy of the old boot.plist you can load it, config=(com.apple.boot.plist) location and file needs to be specified from your boot drive´s point at boot time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/180595-halp-modified-the-comapplebootplist-and-now-system-wont-boot/#findComment-1231127 Share on other sites
