barf
I haven't seen an answer or discussion on this anywhere else, and I'm sure many people will just shout "but it's a notebook, not a HiFi!" However, I'd really like to know how the speakers compare between the 'Book and the 'Pro, is there any difference spec wise, other than the fact that the Pro speakers are directed either-side of the keyboard and the 'Book speakers are pointing at the screen? I'm trying to make my mind up whether I should really shell out the extra cash for a Pro and one of the key secondary usage points for me is listening to audio/watching DVDs on the move and rubbish sound is not what I'm after. Anybody know the answer? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17713-macbook-v-macbook-pro-unconsidered-spec-difference/ Share on other sites
jgrimes80
Depending on a Laptop for sound isn't exactly the wisest thing... however I will say this; 13<15<17 in terms of sound quality... but they're still laptop speakers. I'm not to fond of the glossy screen... INFNITE
just get a nice set of headphones. The speakers on these laptops simply suck. It produces absolutely no bass, and the sound is very shallow and weak. Mr. Bond
just get a nice set of headphones. The speakers on these laptops simply suck. It produces absolutely no bass, and the sound is very shallow and weak. As is most usually the case. If your a bit of an audiophile, I'd go for a nice pair of bluetooth speakers. Would be a nice added convenience, without the wires and whatnot. A Nonny Moose
The ones on the MacBook Pro seem to have better sound. But even a cheap pair of headphones will outdo any laptop speaker.
