Well if you want to store somethign larger than 8 exabytes then go with NTFS. If you want to have more than "32,767 Unicode characters with each path component (directory or filename) up to 255 characters long" then go with HFS+. ;)

I already have MacDrive, which I need for my main computer...

 

Is HFS+ so much of a better file system that it's worth going through a 3rd party driver, or would I get better performance out of NTFS?

 

Of course, it's just a big drive going to be full of movies, so speed isn't too much of a priority...
