I built a functional, safe-to-update hackintosh with efi-x and a RETAIL copy of Leopard. I put it on Craigslist in NYC, but I didn't get the kind of response I was hoping for. I want to try to sell it on eBay, but I'm afraid of Apple attacking me or suing me. Should I really be that concerned?

Also, eBay would probably take the ad down once they figure out what I'm doing... will I get eBay fees back if they do?

Thanks!

If you provide a store-bought copy of a Mac OS X disc along with the computer, it would give you a better legal footing, I'd think. But I'm not a lawyer.

You could sell the computer with the OS X install disc you used, and include very detailed instructions on how to get it to work as you have it now.

You technically cannot be sued because you don't have OS X installed on the PC, therefore not breaking any part of the EULA.
