hanzoh
Hello, I've read a lot of threads in all kinds of subforums, but I still don't which graphics card to get. The system I've currently planned is a Core i7 with EX58-UD5 Gigabyte board. I want to connect a 24" Dell display (1920x1200) via DVI and a 40" Sony TV (1920x1080) via a DVI to HDMI cable. So which graphics card works best in Leopard, is somewhat silent but still has power? The most expensive cards in my price range are the ATi 4870, nVidia GTS 250 (=9800GTX+) and GTX 260, but I read so many contradicting posts, that dual displays are not working, or only with a lot of patching, which I would like to avoid as I assume that this leads to instability. Thanks and regards, Chris Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/174064-silent-graphics-card-with-dual-display-support/ Share on other sites

hanzoh
Thanks for your replies! Maybe silent was the wrong word, it doesn't have to noiseLESS, just..."quiet". I saw that lots of people adjust the fan speed of their GTX 260s in Windows via the driver, which isn't possible in OS X I guess?!
