Each of these have different selection options for the kernel. whaledawg Posted June 11, 2009 Author Share Posted June 11, 2009 So apparently I have version 1.3 10.5.5 Following MGJulius's advice I installed using the stage XNU kernel and the AMD patch(and nothing else) and I no longer get the reboot. However now I'm getting a kernel panic. I've tried booting into safe mode and single user mode and still get the panic. Any ideas? Kernel panics are widespread and can happen for many different reasons. A picture is the best way to finding out whats wrong. And I don't get a kernel panic(yay!) but I can't load the OS(boo). I can boot into single user mode and I keep getting warnings but when I try to boot into regular mode using -v I just see this over and over again USBF: 257.560 AppleUSBECHI[0x6254000]::UMICheckForTimeouts - Async USBCMD and USBSTS not synched ON (#247) with numbers ranging from 1 to 247 and then it just kind of hangs.
