motionworks
Hi Everybody, I finally installed 10.5.6 to my Hp DV7 1245ef First i installed 10.5.5 iatkos then upgrade from apple to 10.5.6 Everything works great without 1 problem. I have Nvidia 9600M GT graphic card. Now it is working high native resolution. 1440 x 900. Here is my problem. I use Core Image - Software mode. In software mod my graphic cards works great with high resolution. But of course without Hardware Acceleration. When i changed it to Hardware Accelerated mode, problems start. It looks normal but after a while for example 5 minutes it starts to blink then freeze. After 1-2 minutes freeze, it is normal again. It repeats like this. I tried every package (Ideneb, Kalyway, iAtkos, Ipc) Result is same. I tried to install Nvidia 9000 series driver 2, it is same, I tried every EFI injector and driver around still same. Do you have any idea what is my problem? Thanks a lot. Here is my original config but in osx it says 2 x 1.6 ghz 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7450 4096 (2 x 2048 MB) NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Up to 1791 MB (512 MB dedicated) 500 GB (2 x 250 GB) (5400 rpm) Lightscribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support 17” WXGA High-Definition AG with BrightView Infinity Display (1440 x 900) Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Intel WiFi Link 5100 3D Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound 16 bit integrated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169058-core-image-problem/ Share on other sites

rage_311
I know you said you tried EVERY EFI injector... but since you didn't list examples, have you tried nvinstaller? Worked like a charm for me. It fixed all graphics problems. nvinstaller.com I think. good luck. motionworks
Yes i tried. I have no problem to get Hardware support. All methods are working. The problem is after getting hardware support. It starts to blink and freeze. Nvdarwin, Efi methods even Nvkush is working. I can see fully hardware support Nvidia 9600M GT in my System Profiler. I think this graphic card is cursed Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169058-core-image-problem/#findComment-1169432 Share on other sites

motionworks
I found the solution. My HP DV7 1245ef is now stable and works great. If you have same card ( 9600M GT ) , try this enabler !!! It worked like a charm http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=169351 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169058-core-image-problem/#findComment-1170707 Share on other sites
