My system: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3400+: ASUS motherboard: ATI Radeon 9800 PRO Card.

First, I have read, searched, now i am asking.

What i have done:

I burned the DVD with MAC OS X in it. The MD5 Tag matches the needed Tag to install. so I got that right.

My PC boots from the DVd, I get to see the Apple Loading thing. I go into Utility Disk, and Erase/Partitino my Hard Drive.

I click install, and SKIP the Hard DRive check thing, as stateted to do so.

PROBLEM:

During installation, I get a very dark screen, that tells me to reboot, in like 5 diffeent langaues. some kind of error happened during installation.

Please help me? I am sorry if this has been postedbefore. I tried searching for this problem, but came up empty handed. Also, if I posted in the wrong section, pleas elet me know. i'm trying to follow the rules here.

Thanks for your help.

Guillo

hmm sounds like a kernal panic or what I believe is a kernel panic.. when installing did u choose the "customize button" and see what options are there ? if it is the Jas dvd it has options for SSe2 and SSE3 and intel cpu and amd cpu and a few others. be careful to choose the correct options ONLY for your system

oh yeah nearly forgot

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the yelling you asked for

This _is_ called a kernel panic.

What is the exact version (Myzar, JaS, or whatever) of OS X you are working with?

What is the exact brand and model number of your DVD drive?

Exactly which Asus motherboard do you have?

Are you installing to an SATA or IDE drive?

Did you format your target partion to HFS+?

PS: This will be moved to another forum, probably "installation".
