cg_ai4 Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 ok guys i have successfully install iDeneb v1.4 on my dell d520 laptop no problems at all but my question is on how to add kext to the installation dvd so i can boot it on my dell E521... the kext i want to add are for the sata dvd wich with out them i will still get the waiting for root device error.... as the iDeneb distro doesn't seem to have the sata kext for my dvd drive any ideas on how to successfully add these kext to the distro?........plz anyone helpme on this one...or if somebody have successfully install mac leopard on a dell E521 with AMD 64 Anthlon x2 procesor, nForce controllers, broadcomm inernet controller, and sata dvd drive, plz tell me how to do it tanx in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Times_Infinity Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Yeah, you can either add your kexts to a boot132 cd. or you can add the kexts to the dvd and rebuild the dvd's kextcache.
