helfire
there is no such option, you just doulbe click an app and it runs. If you dont have an SSE3 machine you need to have a patched roseta to run PPC apps. Safari is a universal binary so rosetta doesnt need to run it. I am using DVD install PM 1.6Ghz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1633-can-teach-me-how-to-set-run-in-rosetta-pls/#findComment-10278 Share on other sites
cyrana
If an application is a universal binary, then yes this option exists. Go to finder, right click and do 'Get Info'. At the bottom of the 'General' section three will be a box that says "Open using Rosetta." If you check it, it will run the ppc portion of the executable instead of the x86 portion. Only in a universal binary, though. If it is PPC only or x86 only then this option won't exist. (ppc would obviously have to use rosetta anyway, whereas x86 won't) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1633-can-teach-me-how-to-set-run-in-rosetta-pls/#findComment-10291 Share on other sites
