Hi there guys,

I have an interesting issue. I am attempting to make OS X x86 work on my Centrino laptop. And so far with the appropriate patches it is going as well as might be expected. An ocassional crash here and there, but nothing systematic. HOWEVER, I have a very odd issue. I can use my build in keyboard and mouse (track pad) in the boot options, and on the login screen. But, as soon as the login finishes and everything loads the mouse and keyboard immediately stop working. At this point, plugging in a mouse works just fine, (it works at any point), but the issue is that obviously as this is a laptop, I don't want to have to attach any keyboards and mice to it. A mouse is ok, but to have to use a usb keyboard on a laptop is not really doable :(. Any suggestions, ideas, etc. would be very much appreciated, this is the only thing I have to make work and then I am set. And, I tried disabling USB in my BIOS options, but the only option I have is disable legacy, nothing besides that related to usb.

Regards,

Victor

Sure, it is a hypersonic CX5, (hypersonic-pc.com), don't think it is on the site anymore.

1.7ghz Pentium M Dothan (2MB Cache)

1gig Ram

Radeon 9600 Mobile

Realtek RTL8139 100mbit Ethernet

Keyboard and mouse show up as standard PS/2

I tried disabling USB in my bios, but I can only disable Legacy, not all USB.

Thanks,

Victor
