Swad
Is there anyway to override a hash fail in a torrent? I just got done getting a 200 meg rar file and it got to 99.9 percent before claiming a hash failure. It did it in both Azureus and utorrent. Is there anyway to get past this? REVENGE
Hey Mash, Ive gotten the same error over here as well. It's actually a pretty well documented phenomenon and it has to do with how your router handles data packets and such. I don't understand enough to explain the specifics, but apparently the router will mess up the incoming data if one is using "Gaming Mode" or "DMZ". The easy solution is to download to 99.9%, then plug your computer directly into your modem to complete the download. Ah, heres the link to where i got this info: http://forum2.youceff.com/showthread.php?t=5188 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15843-hash-failures-and-bittorrent/#findComment-101745 Share on other sites
Swad
Hmm, interesting. So it's an error on my side? I googled it (obviously - I'd be the worst forum admin ever to post before searching! ) but didn't find anything too helpful.
