Sabr
In the Virtual Machines configuration file, open it with NotePad and add paevm=true See if that helps! Dynamite
It fixed it for me. I was having that error when booting from the installation dvd right when the grey apple comes out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15034-vmware-installation-problem/#findComment-107906 Share on other sites
hirokun
It fixed it for me. I was having that error when booting from the installation dvd right when the grey apple comes out yeah, that's excatly what happens here. As soon as the grey apple appears, it freezes. So you could fix it by adding the "paevm" option to your config? didn't work for me Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15034-vmware-installation-problem/#findComment-108116 Share on other sites
moseschrist
VMware installation is not possible for pentium m cpus which lack PAE support. you would be able to install it natively if you will burn the dvd and install it regularly.
