SticMAC™
Your mach_kernel and system.kext needs to match otherwise you will get this error! If you then find you can't mount DMG's you probably have the Voodoo kernel loaded and you will need to load the corresponding seatbelt.kext with that!(can be found on the iPC 10.5.6 DVD) SticMAC A compilation of files to get your Aspire going! It also includes the mach_kernel and system.kext, so extract and use what you want http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?vmwyyzdmh3y Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147256-usb-problems-when-upgrading-to-1056/#findComment-1059567 Share on other sites

Seepositive
yea i have the voodoo kernel, but i downgrade my seatbelt.kext to 10.5.5 (my osx is 10.5.6) and the usb still wont work.. so how do you think i should do? Exact same situation here....have matching kernel and system.kext, switched seatbelt.kext. My system is 100% grand, but for this USB issue. It seems really random, too. I plug in a usb flash drive and my keyboard goes off...haven't been able to use my flash drives at all. lzieba
I have the same problem. Any solutions? I used seatbelt.kext from the previous Mac OS 10.5 version, and now USB port works, but very randomly - sometimes it works, when I plug in my external drive before booting system.
