vbetts
Well, there's only really one problem. It won't install at all. It stops on the boot up. Sorry for low quality, picture taken with Iphone. It doesn't do anything else, but stays on that screen. The only thing I've done to the laptop, is turn off Speedstep. Here's the specs. Hexidecimal
I know on my Vostro I had to switch the SATA mode to AHCI or ACHI whichever it is in the BIOS to make iDeneb work during the install, then back to SATA to get the OS to boot. SimpleSimon
I too have a Vostro 1500 but with the NVidia video, wireless 1505, and Core 2 Duo processor. All types of issues trying to get OS X to boot and work properly. Give the Boot-132 and Type 11 method a shot. You will need an original Leopard install DVD for the Boot-132. The install works perfectly. To me, the best install process around! Good Luck!
