ok so im gonna make this little tutorial to help people with installin a 7300 GT AGP might help with ALL AGP cards.im not pro at this but may work on other versions of leopard as well.i use 10.5.4 jaS stylez :D

First go here ---> http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/ and get the NVKush pakage and get the NVIDIA-leopard-graphics-pkg as well

*i didnt not need to take control or set permissions at all.the installers do that themselves

*DO NOT USE AGPGART!!!!!<----even thos this tut is for AGP card....DO NOT USE AGPGART!!it will NOT boot afterNVKush installation!

1st-->install NVIDIA-leopard-graphics-pkg.kext..its a installer so its harmless..after that reboot..

2nd--> since this is for 7300 GT AGP heres the devID=0x02e210de <---exatcly like this

3rd-->edit these 4 things inside of the info P-List i use p-list edit pro :P

GeForce.kext<---0x02e210de NVDANV40HAL.kext<---0x02e210de NVDAResman.kext<---0x02e210de

and NVKush<---0x02e210de

when you edit these 4 files, you must look for these keys inside the info.plist

it will look and say this--><key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> <--look for this entry and right underneath is where you add the devID .*if you use the plist edit pro ..or something similar..its so easy..you see what i mean ;)

after u edit all plist..please reboot..* if you have a dual monitor setup..you might endure a crazy looking artifact screen after reboot.please unhook any secondary device u have...then reboot again with -v <---v shows u everything at boot time should load up perfectly with QE and CE hardware supported !!

any questions leave me a reply :)

MODS PLEASE STICKY THIS THANKS :)

O AND ANYONE WHO READS THIS...HELP ME OUT..I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET THE TOTAL VRAM SIZE TI 512 I HAVE THE CODE --->00000020 BUT NVKUSH DOESNT HAVE A SPOT FOR IT...

Not working...i have a NV 7300 GT AGP , and after all the steps ,i get to the load screen and it just shows loading... on -v mode i get "unknown display" 2 times and then some buffer timeouts.

Not working

for 7600GT AGP, use ideneb v1.4.

Select only NVidia:

NVinject 0.2.1 for the correct amount of ram.

I select NVinject 0.2.1 256mb as I have a A7600GT 256MB AGP.

No need to add or amend anything. If the installation goes through successfully, you should see a translucent toolbar on the top of the screen. If you select a wall paper, you can see the background through the toolbar... enjoy

hello

i searching in the hole forum the path to some framebuffer file or plist... dont remember, to set <minimum VRAN> for Quartz Extreme, i can remember where did i saw it but i know its some where here..

the fact its that i have already full resolution + Quartz Enable + Rotation Enable and i think the reason why quartz extreme still not supported is because minimun vran are to high for my Nvidia 76600 GT 256Mb AgP card

thank you

i think the reason why quartz extreme still not supported is because minimun vran are to high for my Nvidia 76600 GT 256Mb AgP card

Chameleon GraphicsEnabler works fine with 7600GT AGP 256MB on Leopard 10.5.8 and the latest nvidia drivers for Leopard. Full QE/CI. Only minor detail is that GraphicsEnabler doesn't know the device ID of the card, so it is listed as Unknown Nvidia in System Profiler, but that's easy to fix by editing the Chameleon source code or injecting just the model name via DSDT gfx0 device. Anyway it's just cosmetic, it makes no difference to how the card works.

I never had any luck with AGPGart or other AGP kexts but the card works fine, just don't try to play games at resolutions above 640x480 - the card runs at 33MHz PCI Bus speed because there is no AGP support, so there is not enough bandwidth to transfer data fast enough at higher resolutions. Tomb Raider Anniversary ran smooth as silk on it at 640x480.

Remove your NVKush/NVInject/NVDarwin or whatever, install Chameleon 2.0 RC5 and set GraphicsEnabler=y in /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist.

Use the display output that's closest to the motherboard when looking at the back of your PC case. Use a VGA-DVI adapter if you have to.

If you for some reason can't use that output, you'll need a custom NVCAP value...that I don't remember, that Hackintosh has been dismantled now and the parts are for sale. You can search posts from 2008-2009 by user Beerkex'd to find it. This can be injected via com.apple.Boot.plist as well using NVCAP key and string.
