cabron
I've Got my the trial today Its released and apple has a trial version for rest of us test. So, whats yours opinions? I haven't made a deep teste here but I think the UI is really faster for all app (keynote, pages and numbers) than the previously version, some improvements under UI when open a new doc template for all apps. Pages now show fonts in menu dropdown with a preview of typeface without slowing down or lag in preview (thanks to the fc-cache process). We also can share and publish your documents with the new beta feat. Under keynote I have notice 4 more brand new animations for window tranasition (zoom objects is awesome), an options to export datashow for various kind of medias including youtube. It algo have an option for you record your datashow presentation and "training", new view options including one that looks like the thumb view from iphoto for your page slides. numbers is the one i didn't take a look and this is the one I use less I think the upgrade is question for considering, the main reason and who made it worth of is the updates on keynote. and you? gonna update for 09 or will stick under 08? Synaesthesia
You mean iLife? There's no trial version. You can get the iWork trial at Apple's site. -> http://www.apple.com/iwork/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/145011-iwork-09-coming/#findComment-1062161 Share on other sites
idividebyzero
I tried iWork and thought it was a waste of time. Its good for personal use but its Office support is a joke. Theres really nothing "work" about it because it is completely incompatible with documents you would get from work, I dont understand how anyone could possibly use this in an office. Synaesthesia
I disagree. It supports office docs just fine. Import & Export... Pages is just brilliant compared to Word, as is Keynote superior over Powerpoint. Numbers isn't nearly as powerful as Excel, but for my purposes, it's perfect (writing reports for University).
