tdtran1025
There's a simpler mini boot loader posted in New Release called EasyBCD. This program will work wonder for you. It's fairly easy to set up. Trust me. I have the same setup. BTW, where did you get this new build of Win7? Mine is @ build 6801. Synaesthesia
You should try making Mac OS X the active partition Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/145008-cant-boot-os-x-after-upgrading-to-windows-7/#findComment-1042686 Share on other sites
Baza210
You should try making Mac OS X the active partition I tried that, and got a boot1: error. My order of events: Had XP and OS X dualboot with Darwin. Installed W7 on the XP partition (removing XP essentially) Upon rebooting, W7 seems to have set itself to the active partition; boots straight into W7. Stick in Ubuntu Live CD, and use GParted to set OS X as the active partition. Get boot1:error and can't access anything. Change boot flag back to W7, and start looking for a fix. ... I would copy chain0 to c: and also over to c:\windows then use command prompt for the whole bcdedit scenario again (p.s when you open command prompt if it is on c:\windows\system32 i would type "cd.." to go down in the directory easier that way Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/145008-cant-boot-os-x-after-upgrading-to-windows-7/#findComment-1054487 Share on other sites
