I had a same problem and I have solved in its given way. It is taken from http://www.applelife.ru/mac_os_x_10_5_leop...sorov/6388.html

sorry for russian :(

The main reason of cyclic reboot - integrated Intel network adapter.

yes

I finded drivers for nVidia GeForce FX5500 on Leopard 10.5.7

1. Delete all Geforce*.*, NVDA*.*, AppleGraphics*.*, AppleUpstream*.* files

2. Install nVIDIA Kexts from DiaboliK

http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/Installer/NVid...s-Kexts.pkg.tbz

3. Install NVKush Installer

http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/NVkush/NVkushInstaller.pkg.tgz

4. Reboot

It works... but with few glitches.

Thanks for russian guys - slice and TimeWalker from applelife.

OR...

you can install coregraphics.framework from iAtkos v5 Leo 10.5.5 and nvkushcomplete package.

Geez, I've tried your method letter by letter and couldn't get it to work. Searched into Diabolik's kexts (those you provided) and realized that my fx's id it's not listed. Help. You can add my msn: star_in_coma@hotmail.com

Thanks to all the help here and in other posts I have been able to get my Dell Optiplex GX260 working just about perfect with dual monitors and QE/CL working. GeForce FX5200. Took me a couple days but it was worth it. The only thing is my resolution on my 23" HP L2335 monitor tops out at 1360x768 and is actually better at 1280x1024. I wish it was able to go up to 1600x1200 or even 1920x1200 but I guess that's not to be for now. I'm actually pretty stoked and thanks again to all. ;)

Hey Guys,

I would really appreciate your help with something. After a lot of effort I got this card to work thanks to you guys, but I have a slight problem with Dual-Monitoring.

I have two monitors, one 21" and one 14". Now, if I connect the 14" one with DVI, and the 21" with VGA, everything boots fine. However, my set up is such that it requires the VGA to be connected with the 14" Monitor, and the DVI to the 21" monitor, but when I do this, I get an "Input signal out of range" message on one Monitor. While at the bootloader, the 14" monitor shows this message, but once the system is running, the 14" monitor becomes active and this message is displayed on the 21" Monitor.

So, what can I do to get both the monitors working with the VGA Connected to the 14" Monitor and DVI to the 21"? I am guessing the fix has something to do with EFI Strings, but how do I go about editing them to fullfill my purpose.

Guys your help would really be appreciated. Please help me, I am on the brink of desperation (and delirium!)

EDIT: OK, I THINK that if I configure the EFI Strings in such a way that they detect the monitor connected to the VGA Port as DVI, and vice versa, the problem will be solved. So can anyone tell me how I to do that please?

EDIT 2: OK, now, after doing some EFI Editing, both monitors work in the boot loader BUT as soon as the system logs on, the 21 " screen goes blank, there are no messages. The monitor is on, but it is not displaying anything at all. Someone please help me!! The VGA connected 14 " Monitor is working though.
