JaS
So appears that 8600GT/8800GT series cards are for sure having the stuttering issue when using itunes or quicktime. So you don't have the issue because you have an ATI card. -Stell Maybe something to do with the injectors .. some settings changed with the 5.6 drivers maybe, Are you using an injector or an efi string ? I've tried both. I use EFI strings exclusively though. Same issues with both. -Stell Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141336-mac-os-x-1056-users-report-crashes-blue-screens/page/2/#findComment-1004074 Share on other sites
Guest cavallo
I have 10.5.6 Amd system perfectly working. To have video sapphire ati hd2600 pro workin i have done the followings: 1) move to trash every ati folder from root; 2) move every video extensions from system/library/extensions to thrash 3) i unfold and copy ati pcie 2600 from leo4all 4.1 in root; 4) i loaded kexts with kext helper It is imporatant to remember that i have done the same in extra root folder. My Macs (the real ones) didnt have a problem with 10.5.6 I was obbliged to reinstall everything, cause during downloading update for my imac,a message about corrupted original files appeared and then auto stopped.
