At a guess I would say either:

1. You have an unsupported Motherboard and the installation can't see the Hard Drive as it may be SATA and not have support. (i recommend trawling through forums or check the Wiki)

2. The Configuration of Primary/Secondary and Master/Slave may not be correct for OSX to see the drive. (again check the forums on how to resolve this)

3. You could possibly try formatting the HDD as FAT32 1st and then Re-format as OSX Journal if it detects the HDD.

Which Motherboard are you using and is the Hard drive SATA or IDE? Is it Master or Slave? and is it on the Primary Channel?

If you search through this site you should be able to find pretty much all the answers.

You really need to know the specs of all the Hardware in you system.

Ie: Motherboard Make/Model, Video Card Make/Model, Is your HDD Sata or IDE is it formatted in NTFS or FAT32?

What other PCI cards are you running?

It should install but its possible it cant see the drive as it is in NTFS.

So you could either fit an additional HDD and format that as FAT32 then Convert to MAC OS Journal at time of install OR dump windows and format as FAT32 then install MAC OS.

You cannot install the Kalyway disc over an existing Windows installation to the best of my knowledge.

If you find out more info it will be easier to serach the forums for a fix.
