Hey, I just downloaded / put iDeneb on a disk.

I went to boot it up, it booted up

I still have one question;

How do I make the disk utility use my actual hard drive? I went to the Disk Utility and it wouldn't let me turn my disk into a mac journal or whatever it was..

Need help asap! - waiting to install still hehe

Thanks :D

Does your hard drive not show up in Disk Utility? If not then if it is a Sata hdd; go to BIOS and use Sata as AHCI mode.

Yes I have sata-II

Err, I went to my BIOS, and I didn't know how to set it for AHCI mode, lol

Do you have maybe a page that tells you how, or can you tell me?

thanks

In the BIOS there will be a section called SATA Mode. It will be set to either IDE or AHCI. That's all there is. It's probably under a section like Integrated Peripherals

Alright, I'll restart again and try to find that, thanks ;)

Stay here - i personally don't think that there is, I looked around for sata a bit but yeah, i'll look.

Yeah, I didn't see that

Do I have to made the whole harddrive to AHCI? Can I still use it in windows if I have it set to AHCI? Can I made only a partition harddrive to AHCI?

not sure, I still need help..

How do I set mine to AHCI? I don't see that option in the BIOS
