declan
Not the best combination but at least it works properly, but what games work, playable, and not just for the sake of it. What games have you played with GMA950.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13663-gaming-and-gma950/ Share on other sites

What games have you played with GMA950.. Ok. Then. Games that are "playable" that I've tried with a GMA 900: -UT2004 full patched to Universal Binary (keep settings on low for everything) -Marble Blast Gold (Demo, PowerPC, keep settings on low) -Racer (Freeware, PowerPC, keep settings on low) -Total Immersion Racing (Demo, PowerPC, keep settings on low) [Download site here] You can try Halo Demo and Doom 3 Demo, but those two Demos will really not be playable on any GMA 900/950, though, I haven't tried Doom 3 Universal Binary on my GMA 900 yet. HShin
Just tested Doom 3 (UniBin) the other day as soon as I got the x700 (QE + CI) working. My findings: With x700, game refuses to run. With only Intel 915, game runs but sans audio. With the latter, game is so choppy (>10fps) that it feels like it's running on a G4 1GHz. Works flawlessly. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13663-gaming-and-gma950/#findComment-93491 Share on other sites
