manofmany
I've got my system working flawlessly under 10.5.2. Is it even worth it considering an upgrade to 10.5.5 on my AMD machine? It was rough getting here but I finally got everything working. I'm not sure the upgrade is worth the hassle or effort... need some reassurance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135734-upgrade-from-1052-to-1055-worth-it/ Share on other sites
Suprjacob
Eh, only if you're having problems. I personally see no difference between the two, having installed both and used them extensively. manofmany
Sounds good, thanks. 10.5.2 is operating great. I was having trouble originally getting iDeneb to not initially reboot automatically but now that I think about it, it was probably hanging on the Nvinject. I don't think I'm gonna mess with it for awhile though. Got my dual boot setup going and software installed. Synaesthesia
10.5.5 is a bit smoother with Spotlight and stuff. Safari 3.1.1 is also a big improvement (came with 10.5.2.) But nothing earth-shattering. I would be happy with 10.5.2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/135734-upgrade-from-1052-to-1055-worth-it/#findComment-965447 Share on other sites
link01
I upgaded to 10.5.5 only because the iphone SDK requires 10.5.4 to run. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have upgraded.
