orngy Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have. I have a Toshiba Satellite as stated above and I am turning it into a Hackintosh. So I was wondering if there are any tips to make this process less rigid. I have read that people are having issues with wireless/LAN, audio, resolution, updates, and pairing external devices. Also tweaking the Bios can be tricky and more like a trial and error. I was also wondering if the reason that you are using Kalyway. Is this because it acts like a translator between the hardware or that it's the only thing that works? I was thinking about trying Linux to convert. Any thoughts on any of this? Any help would greatly be appreciated. dillon31292 Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 No OSx86 distro I've tried would work on my Satellite A215 except for JaS 10.4, and judging by what I've read most other Satellite users have a lot of problems too.
