Now i got full resolution and everything but no quartz extreme.....therefore i can not use timemashine because the display is not showing up and in itunes i got no cover flow...should i install more than your kext's? Well, i installed the new natit you posted, it's 2 times x1900 like before but still no quartz...strange since all resolutions etc. are working! Any more ideas??? Somehow not all the Kext were installed properly so there were a few missing and all that ide/ahci settings changes confused my hackintosh ! Shanems3 Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 Has worked before on my other rig, moved video card to another rig, everything works except for quarts extreme, 1900gt 724b video card its weird, it worked before.. did you do a revision update in the past 2 weeks? pino, what did you do to resolve the ACHI conflict to get it to work correctly? all working, installed the other kext , the one ending in 1002... works now.. thanks man, ur the best.. bubbaganoush Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Worked fine on my x1900xtx 0x7249. I installed iatkos 5i. Under the VGA options I chose the x1900xt EFI string. After install it worked with QE and everything except I couldn't change the resolution. It was fixed after I installed this. The 10.5.4 driver also worked when I was using iatkos 4.1i.
