SuperNet33 Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 I did the update everything worked fine expect my Nic card, OSX thinks the cable is unplugged but it really isn't.. Any idea how to fix it? I copyed the IOnetworkingfamily back already... but didn't work. macwanabe Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Switch off your machine disconnect your power cable wait at least 15 sec plug back in start machine, is should work now. I get the same thing if I boot into Windows XP and then reboot into OSX no network thinks cable is unplugged. Ampidire Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 i have this issue with my Marvell 88e8056 network card since 10.5.5, i have no internet in os x because of it. there are quite a few others with this issue as well in some other threads, from what i can tell, no one has fixed it yet...
