Gigabyte EP35 with a Core 2 Duo? That will be great for your purposes. Corsair RAM is very robust, the only thing I would change is that machine is the hard drive which doesn't sound great quality, but everything else is good quality stuff. urgonah8me Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 c2d is more than enough for video editing.. infact most video editing software thats new optimises and uses 2 cores these days... very rare that any program utilises all 4 cores if you wonna go quad. Also, do not go too light with the ram, because video editing likes to have at least 2GB of ram.
