starobrno1 Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I´ve so far only tried it with my old Kaly 10.5.1 but it works, typing this on it now. Borrowed the q6600 and 2 gig from my old setup and with two bios fixes (cpu speed and PCIe for first video port) it fired right up, network and FW seems to work pretty much out of the box. TI chipset for onboard FW on this board and so far it seems to be stable, no distortion or sound dropouts so far in other words good news for the musicmakers here. starobrno1 Posted August 21, 2008 Author Share Posted August 21, 2008 Been running it for 24 hours now and it works good. I just put in my Kalyway Leo 10.5.1 harddrive and it fired right up. Onboard Firewire works stable with my soundcard everything seems to work OK well shutdown not everytime and I have´nt tried sleep. madvillain Posted September 13, 2008 Share Posted September 13, 2008 nobody has network issues with the built in NICs? i leave my hackintosh on all the time, after about 2-3 days the NICs pretty much stop working and I need to reboot to get it all back.
