jWin
Would it be possible to do a full upgrade inside a iMac G3, such as using a Intel MINI-ITX board, is there space for it? UnaClocker
How would you hook it to the monitor? That would just be hugely difficult and not work out so well in the long run. Try a PowerMac.. I just did one in a PowerMac G4, one of the early ones, don't recall the "name" they go by, but I've always loved the looks of those cases. Turned out great. Used a dremel to open up the IO area at the back of the case, and used double back tape to hold the motherboard to the door of the case. MaaseyRacer
I believe the iMac G3 used a VGA connector to connect to the video card. You may want to open it up and see. It has been a while since I have opened one up. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/121755-mini-itx-in-a-g3/#findComment-918664 Share on other sites
