berkekibris
So I have an old PowerBook G3 Pismo, but I don't know the exact specs of it, as it is not at my current house where I am living. I was wondering if I could fix it up, like some other board members, and install 10.4 Tiger on it. Or, if I could just use the Pismo as a case and replace the logic board, RAM, processor, etc. Is that even possible? I don't know much about laptops, only PCs. Any comments would be great! Synaesthesia
What's wrong with it? Is it still working? I would say, check how much RAM it has, possible upgrade it, and install Tiger or Panther. cmdshft
Looks here I love how they dissed Intel in the one video on that german blog, and now all Mac's use Intel's. Brilliant. A Nonny Moose
You can run Tiger off of it without any upgrades. There is a G4 processor you can drop in there also to put it at a G4 500 MHz processor. With the RAM maxed out, you'll have a nice Tiger laptop.
