What it means is that I have never built a computer before, but I have used Mac OS X, and built a hackintosh. Te build installer will be from the iatkos V2.0i install DVD, and I already bought my leopard copy. Now onto the topic! I am planning on building my first computer, and I'm getting EVERYTHING from newegg. I will upgrade mostly ram, processor, and hard drive if needed. This will be a fun first build is the main intention. It will be used for typing reports, surfing the web, and made to upgrade easy. If anyone can suggestions to make the build cheeper, but still OS X compatible, or find something that won't work with OS X, please let me know! Think best that you start off with single 2GB DDR2 as the board max only 4GB with 2 slots.. Graphic card i'd prefer to go for GDDR3 based cards either GeForce or Radeon, but looking at current market its good to get 8800GT or 3870HD as price is very low.. Installing i'm now using Boot-132 method with retail DVD merged.. Other than the ram limit, which I am fine with at 4 GB's, is the mobo going to be good with OS X Leopard fine? It's one of those things that when I am truly done all that there will be left is the case. It will be replaces slowly all of the way down to the motherboard. It's more of a building project for me. It's something fun, and the more that I can change when I get more money is part of that fun. I may have a 40 GB hard drive to replace the 10 GB I was going to put in it though. I would never rely on a hackintosh for work reasons but I do plan on changing it all out as stated. One part at a time. For the harddrive, I doubt that the 10gb is a sata3gb, so I included in the 80 gb harddrive, same one I have, and it's great. For the PSU, if you want to take that off you can, and use your psu instead, but your psu might be a 20 pin, which the mobo listed is a 24 pin+4 pin cpu power. Which you can get a 20-24 adapter, as well as a 4pin moxel-4pin cpu.
